Six Months Old

Happy six months AA!! He is a happy kiddo, who takes all the chaos in the Asch family in stride. AA loves to sit up and play with his toys, laugh at his sisters, be outside and do tummy time. He dislikes eating solid food and when he accidentally rolls over onto his stomach when sleeping. We love you!

Hava Narisha, Rash, Rash, Rash

That's what the girls have been singing as they get ready to celebrate Purim. Robin jumped out of the gate first, deciding to be a giraffe.  After we decided that costume was a little too difficult, she settled on an elephant. After a couple of days of thought, Miriam decided to be a bear...Miriam's class at school is the pilim (elephants) and she decided since Robin was being the animal for her class, she should be the animal for Robin's class--dubim (bears). Creative kiddo. We are stuffed with hamentaschen...we made over 13 dozen for our neighbors and the nursery school classmates. The girls helped bake and decorate and stuff the bags. The Asch family really loves this holiday!

Cousin Visit!

For the long President's Day weekend we packed up the minivan and headed up north to visit family and friends. First stop, New York City to see Aunt Laura. We then headed up to Massachusetts to visit with our friend Dana. We were so happy to see her and her amazing kids and get to play in the snow for a little bit. We then headed to Worcester to hang out with the cousins. We entered the house on Friday and didn't see the kids again 'til we left on Monday morning. They had so much fun sledding, making forts, jumping off couches, playing hide and seek, and staying up late talking. Did we mention the monster trucks, a double birthday party for Matthew and John, and  skating on the outdoor rink? Amazing! On our way back, we got to see Mimi and Popeye (Aunt Michelle and Uncle Dave in New York) which broke up our long drive. We were happy to be home!

With Dana and Aaron
At the snowy playground
At the Norman Rockwell Museum: judging from how many times the bell was rung, we had a good time!
