Birthday Milestones!

     It's been a big week in the Asch family. Aaron celebrated his ten month birthday and Robin is not 3 1/2! Here are some updates on the kiddos.   

      Aaron is up to a lot now that he is 10 months old...most of all trying to walk. He can stand up for a long time and can take two or three steps. He is getting close! The boy also loves to eat. For dinner tonight he gobbled down 3/4 of a banana, 1/2 an avocado, cereal, butternut squash and 1/4 a block of cheese. Then, half an hour later he sat down for more food.  He is a happy, smiley kid, except when he sees his Mommy and she isn't holding him. 

       Robin is her usual exuberant self. She was so excited for her half birthday. She loved her half-birthday treat--a big brownie from the local bakery--Slates. The brownie was so big that she could  not finish it in one sitting. She loves exploring, makes new friends wherever she goes, and is a smiley kid. She embraces most everything with a smile, except walking up the big hill to our house, when she proclaims, my legs are super, super, super, super, super tired.

T-ball

Its summer so its t-ball time (or biddy baseball as it's known in Augusta....they don't actually use tees). Robin and Miriam took to the field for their first day. Robin was very excited and packed her "baseball bag" with her glove, a ball and a Nationals towel in case she got hot. Miriam was also ready to go and has improved on her throwing quite a bit. She's a natural lefty at the plate. Daddy also had a baseball game tonight so the whole family is enjoying the season.

Made it to Maine

To our few loyal readers...sorry it has been so long since we posted. We have been busy, busy, busy packing up, moving and settling in. We love it here and are very excited for this new adventure. Here is a little bit of what we have been up to with more to come soon.

Miriam picking flowers in our backyard...yes this is part of our backyard. After you walk across our lawn, through the woods and across a stream you come to this amazing field of flowers. The butterflies love it (and so do the kids)

AA in the ball pit at the Children's Museum. We love this place and are going to be there all the time. Thanks for a great gift Noar!!

Packing!

We are in the midst of packing up and heading to Maine. Here is Aaron helping out (or not helping out) with the packing. A big thank you to Daddy who has packed the whole house....he is amazing! T minus four days. Moving day is Monday.
