The Caps just won, the Nats are 11-4, and DC is beautiful in the spring. We love it! Below are some shots from our paddle-boating out on the Tidal Basin near the Jefferson Memorial.

Rocky
Robin is a rough-and-tumble kiddo who always seems to wind up with scrapes, bumps, and bruises. Hence her nickname -- "Rocky." A couple of weeks ago, she took a chair to the eye and wound up with a nice shiner. Some people actually thought we let her put mascara on! The photo on the left is a self-portrait taken a bit earlier; on the right is after a long day...
"Labor" seder
We got to enjoy three Passover seders this year -- and we only had to host one. Nana and our neighbors Craig and Jen (and kiddo Sienna) joined us for a "Labor" Seder hosted Jews United for Justice that honored working people, particularly immigrants. Then we ate four hours' worth of food at the Ross' house before hosting our own kid-friendly seder the next night. Talk about chaos! With eight kids under the age of 7 waiting restlessly as they eyed platters of food, Erica set a record with her speedy seder.
Catching up
Okay, so we got behind on the blog...now it's time to catch up! What did we miss last month? Purim! The girls love Purim -- who doesn't love costumes, hamentaschen, and games at the Temple? Miri went as "Little Sal," a character from one of her favorite books, and Robin is following in the Asch transportation tradition by going as a Metro train. Daddy went as, well, himself (in his summer league uniform), though folks thought he was trying to be Billy Beane.
