Summer Snacks

What, Popsicles? That's right, with the weather heating up (again), here in DC, we are enjoying some summer snacks. These pics are from Grandma Jean and Pop Pop's house, but we've been snacking (without the camera) here too.

Cousin Craziness!

So much fun at the Boothbay (Na-Na's beach house) over a long weekend with the cousins! We had a packed agenda — camping in the backyard (see Miri, Robin, John, Damon, Pearce, Matthew above), great meals, a water park excursion, a canoe trip on the Pocomoke River, swimming & pizza at the pool, and, of course, the 13th annual the Blessing of the Combines. The eight (huge!) combines (a combination harvester and thresher) rolled down the street and were blessed for the harvest. Following, there was a street festival with animals, a bounce house, soybeans to play in, and combines to climb.

Abe & Friends

Some TFA friends (the Schaafs) stopped by town this weekend, so the Asch family trekked downtown to check out the monuments with them. We, along with a gazillion tourists, braved the heat to hang out with FDR and Abe. We had a great time, but decided to do our next visit when it is cooler and less crowded!
