Big Jumper

It's fun to see Miriam take on new challenges. As she gets older, she seems to be embracing her fearless side (although, as Mommy says, it's good to fear some things -- like speeding cars!). Check out her latest jumping craze:

The Great Cloth Diaper Change

We were part of setting a world record (pending confirmation)! That's right, we made history by changing diapers. The family journeyed to a local Takoma Park church where we, along with about 5,000 people in over 150 locations, changed our kiddos' cloth diapers at 12:30 PM EST. There were about 25 people at our location and after signing in and getting some raffle prizes, we were ready to get down and dirty. It was the world's largest simultaneous cloth diaper change, a feat that even made the Washington Post (it helps to have a cloth diaper mom who also is a Post photographer).

Happy girl

Reading, riding her three-wheeler, drawing on the sidewalk, even getting tackled by her big sister. . . whatever Robin does, she has a great time doing it. She is just a happy, smiley kid, and she's been that way since she was born. We are lucky to have such a sunny little girl!

Cherry Blossoms

April is Cherry Blossom time in DC. Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a lantern tour of the blossoms at the Tidal Basin (thank you National Park Service for the tour and Nana for babysitting). Mommy also took the girls to a residential neighborhood in Maryland with lots and lots of trees. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we loved the walk through the neighborhood.
