Back Home in the Delta

Miri & Robin went to visit their ancestral homeland, back to where their parents first met and got married: Mississippi. Though Daddy was very busy and wound up losing his voice (too much talking!), it was a fantastic trip. Thanks to our wonderful and generous hosts: Michelle, Chris, & Mariane; and Mark, Tiffany, & Millie. We miss you all!

Daredevil on a sled

With all this snow (and more to come this weekend, apparently), Miriam has become quite a little sledder with a daredevil reputation in the neighborhood. She no longer wants Daddy to accompany her down the hill. Check her out (and wait for her little shake at the end!):

Nats Town

It's the dead of winter, with snow on the ground and still two months from Opening Day. But we made it a day of baseball by heading down to Nationals Park for "Nats Fest." Robin was sporting her very own Nats hat (courtesy of her big sis), while Miriam got to meet George Washington, jump on the Nats moon bounce, see Ryan Zimmerman's Gold Glove award, roll around the clubhouse, and watch Daddy hit in the Nats' underground batting cage. The Nats will win the NL East -- you heard it here first!
