Take your daughter to work day

With Mommy overseas, Daddy's been struggling to keep the carpet clean and the clothes matching back home. He and Miri took a field trip downtown to run some errands and see some of Miri's intern friends. First they went to the bank:

Next they stopped at the office:

And then on back home:

Hello from Israel

Mommy is at the CCAR (Reform Rabbi's) convention in Israel this week. In addition to doing some serious stuff like meetings and study, she is also finding time to explore her old home. Yesterday she took time out for some hot chocolate. Note that in Israel, hot chocolate means warm milk with a whole bar of chocolate thrown in to melt. Yummy!!! Today, she visited some fabulous markets in Tel Aviv (check out those spices!) While Mommy's home, Chris and Miri will... Well, Mommy doesn't know what they are doing. Hey Daddy, post some video before Mommy goes crazy!

Escalators

With Daddy on a trip to the Air Force Academy, Mommy and Miri decided to explore DC today. Okay, Mommy decided and Miri was forced to come along. This involved a trip on the bus and on the Metro which Miri loved. Her favorite part? Looking at all the people. Until we got to the escalators that is. Miri quickly got the hang of stepping on them and happily went up and down, and up and down, and well, you get the picture. We did get to the museum eventually, but what Miri really wanted to do was ride the escalators again on the way home.

Ready for Duke...or UNC?

3Her dad may be pushing baseball and her uncle may be hawking hockey, but Miri seems to have a knack for a different sport altogether. Check it out (and listen carefully for the sound effects!):
